In-Between Worlds: Painting and Virtual Reality

In Between Worlds is a collection of seven abstract paintings made to be viewed in virtual reality, accompanied by a virtual Gallery Game that allows the user to view the paintings in a digital space.

The Gallery Game featured in In Between Worlds is a virtual reproduction of the gallery itself made in Unity. It superimposed the physical gallery experience with an virtually identical one. This created an inception effect, especially since there was a hidden bonus gallery in the game that did not exist in real life.
